Join a drop-in session with Whittington Health staff to discuss the proposed relocation of some of its Haringey health services.
Whittington Health NHS Trust has launched a consultation on proposals to relocate several of its health services in Haringey. Included is the proposal to create a health centre for children and young people at Tynemouth Road Health Centre. The site would be renovated to make it fitter for purpose. Some children and young people’s services from Bounds Green Health Centre and St Ann’s Hospital would also move to Tynemouth Road as part of the proposals.
Currently, several adult services are based at Tynemouth Road Health Centre and in these proposals most of them will move to Lordship Lane Health Centre. In addition, the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service moving to the Laurels Healthy Living Centre. This will allow people with multiple health issues to access one-stop-shops, for example, people with diabetes will be able to access leg ulcer and podiatry clinics at the same time.
We will be holding two online drop-in sessions for Haringey residents and interested community groups to find out more.
