The engagement stage for the Fertility Policies Review is still open until 9 July 2021 and we really want to hear your views.
Fertility policies in North Central London
CCGs are responsible for agreeing local policies. These set out decisions made locally regarding treatment availability and access. Most CCGs in England have a fertility policy which sets out which fertility treatments (for example in vitro fertilisation) are available and the eligibility criteria patients have to meet to access these.
Because NCL CCG was established from the five former CCGs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington, there are currently five fertility policies in operation, and whilst some aspects of these are similar, there are also some differences between the policies. Now that we have formed a single NCL CCG, we have started work to develop one new fertility policy for Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
Seeking the views of patients and residents across our five boroughs is an important part of the Review. We are also keen to hear from service users, clinicians, voluntary and community groups, fertility groups and others with an interest.
There are a range of ways that you can contribute your views, including:
- attending one of our public meetings
- inviting us to join your meeting
- completing the online questionnaire
