A new publication for parents and carers gives advice on where and when to seek advice and help if they are concerned about their child’s physical or mental health this summer and autumn.
It aims to help make sure all children and young people in north central London receive any care and support they need at the right time and in the right place.
Inside the booklet, parents and carers will find:
• a handy guide from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health which explains symptoms to look out for in children and where and when to seek help
• information about a very common viral infection in young children called bronchiolitis or RSV – including symptoms and treatment, and when to seek help from a healthcare professional
• information on local mental health support and advice services for children, young people and their families – including where to get urgent help.
